March 2023. The idea: transcribing and repurposing audio content into written articles takes about 10 hours manually. Woofer does it in minutes.

the problem
Podcasters, marketers, and creators produce hours of audio content that never gets repurposed into written form — not because they don't want to, but because the effort isn't worth it. A 45-minute podcast episode could be a blog post, a LinkedIn article, a newsletter. It almost never becomes one.
what we built
Woofer took three input types — uploaded audio files, YouTube video URLs, and live voice recordings — and produced clean, structured blog articles. Not just transcripts. Actual articles with headings, paragraphs, and flow.

use cases
The two that resonated most with early users:
podcast blogging — record once, publish everywhere. Podcasters could drop their episode link and get a ready-to-publish post.
marketing — teams spending time repurposing recordings from webinars, interviews, and internal calls into content for their channels.

pricing
We ran a freemium model — Basic (free), Professional ($29/mo), and Custom for agencies and larger teams.

stack
Built on Bubble for the frontend, with custom APIs on the backend deployed on Google Cloud. Faster to ship than building everything from scratch — which mattered in a space that was moving quickly.
what happened
Shut it down due to intense competition. The AI content space exploded in 2023 and the market consolidated fast around well-funded players. The product worked, but competing on distribution without a war chest is a losing game.
