May 2021. A review aggregator for OnlyFans content creators — browse, compare, and evaluate creators before subscribing. Built with Bubble and Python. Profitable. Shut down end of 2023 to focus on BorderDollar.

the problem

OnlyFans had no discovery layer. Subscribers had no reliable way to evaluate a creator before paying — content quality, posting frequency, responsiveness, value for money were all opaque. Word of mouth and Twitter were the only signals. Creators had no way to surface their reputation to potential subscribers outside their existing audience.

what we built

FansTools was a review platform where users could browse and read reviews of OnlyFans creators. Creators could claim and manage their profiles with a monthly subscription — keeping their information current and responding to reviews.

Tech stack: Bubble for the frontend and database, Python for scraping and data upload to keep creator profiles populated.

traction

The business was profitable. Creators paid monthly to maintain their accounts — a clean B2B revenue model where the supply side had clear incentive to participate. The value proposition for creators was straightforward: a managed presence on a discovery platform that converted curious subscribers into paying ones.

what happened

Shut down at the end of 2023. The decision was about focus — BorderDollar was the active venture and needed full attention. FansTools was working, but running two things at once wasn't.
